- Messy appearance,poor hygiene, or red flushed cheeks are personal appearances for teens using drugs.
- 13% of 8th graders use drugs, 30% of 10th graders use drugs and 40% of 12th graders use drugs
- More teens die from prescription drugs than heroin/cocaine combined
- About 50% of high school seniors do not think it's harmful to try crack or cocaine once or twice and 40% believe it's not harmful to use heroin once or twice.
- Teens use drugs because of other people, boredom, social media.
