Ethics

Using the "Holocaust" Metaphor-
The PETA group made an animal rights organization. But in 2003 they made a campaign called "Holocaust on Your Plate". The campaign is comparing the slaughter of animals and the murder of 6 million jews in World War 2. People were saying that is been hard to see the pictures that they've seen and its not a good sight.

I think that "Holocaust on your Plate" is wrong for doing this and i don't like it. I don't like this because no one wants to look at those pictures or even think about it. Yes you can have your own opinion but i don't think you should create something like this, just keep everything to yourself. You just get yourself in a mess because people will fight you for having the campaign so its just easier not to have it.

The Medias Foul Ball-
In 2003 the cubs had a chance to go to the World Series. They ended up losing because a man fought a foul ball and one of the players couldn't catch it so it messed up the game.  A lot of people were mad and started calling him names and throwing beer another stuff on him.

I don't think the man shouldn't face any danger but i think he could be identified. At baseball games a lot of people try to catch the balls so he was just trying to be one of those people. I don't think there is anything wrong with trying to catch one of the balls but he should've known that it could've lost them the game. Everyone makes mistakes and that was one mistake that he made.

Publishing Drunk Drivers' Photos-
If people got a DUI then they would be n the newspaper. it would have their picture name, place of residence, time and date that they got arrested, charge, blood alcohol level, and date convicted.

I think that this is newspaper appropriate because the people are doing something wrong. Its their fault they are drinking and driving when they shouldn't be at all. So i think it is okay for them to be in the newspaper.
